Our 9 June auction, which took place on Tuesday sold over £40m bringing our total raised so far this year to £440m. You can now view the full results of the sale here.
Nicholson Boyd, Head of Savills Commercial Auctions comments; "Our latest auction reflects a market that remains price-sensitive, but far from inactive. Buyers are continuing to engage, albeit with a more disciplined and selective approach, focusing on assets that offer clear income security, asset management angles or longer-term value.
Encouragingly, this appetite is translating into deals, particularly on the commercial side, where we have seen a number of buyers move swiftly to secure assets ahead of auction. This demonstrates the ongoing appeal of the auction model, with purchasers able to act decisively and benefit from the speed and certainty that an auction contract provides."
