Let’s just say John Tortorella better hope he’s not leaving his favorite clothes behind in North Carolina.
The Golden Knights are on the brink of elimination. Their season hangs in the balance after losing 4-2 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final to Carolina on Thursday. Carolina leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 and will look to capture their second Stanley Cup championship at T-Mobile Arena with Game 6 on Sunday.
Game 7 would be in Raleigh on Wednesday if the Knights find a way. Should they make that happen, Tortorella is packing light. “I’m going to leave my clothes here, that’s for sure,” Tortorella said.
