Hey, thanks for checking in. I finally finished painting that old bookshelf we found at the flea market. It actually turned out pretty decent once I sanded down the rough edges and applied a coat of primer. The color ended up being a little more muted than I expected, but that works better for the corner of the den. I had to run to the hardware store twice because I forgot to grab painter's tape the first time. Anyway, let me know if you want to borrow the sander this weekend.
I finally got around to organizing the garage yesterday. Found three boxes of old camping gear from that trip we took two years ago. Most of it was still in good shape, just needed a quick air-out. The tent poles were a bit tangled, but once I sorted them out everything fit back into the carry bag. My neighbor is thinking about starting a little weekend project building raised garden beds, so I might pass along some of the extra lumber I have.
