Hi everyone,
I’m Aruni Soni, a reporter who recently joined the Business desk.
SpaceX stock began trading for the first time last week, and it’s a fresh opportunity for everyday investors to buy a piece of yet another company Elon Musk has taken public. So, we’re curious: What questions do you have about investing in Mr. Musk’s rocket ship company?
I’m putting together a guide on how financial experts are currently thinking about investing in the newly public firm, depending on whether you’re in your 20s or headed toward retirement. It may not make sense to invest right now depending on your circumstances and life stage.
If you or someone you know is thinking of buying SpaceX, I’d like to know: What factors are you evaluating before deciding what to do with your money? Are you saving up for your kid’s college fund? Do you feel FOMO from previous market success stories, like Nvidia and Tesla? And if you’re sitting this one out, we’d like to know why as well. As my colleague Ron Lieber recently wrote, there can be joy in doing so.
