Ford CEO Jim Farley’s Right To Repair Comment Should Make Every Car Owner Uncomfortable

After meeting with President Trump recently, Ford CEO Jim Farley said he supports car repair, but "we [Ford] don’t think that’s safe for many of the repairs on our vehicles" due to their complexity. If automakers increasingly control access to repair tools, independent mechanics could be squeezed out and consumers could be forced into more expensive dealership service networks.

Apple Prepares Second-Generation iPhone Air for Spring 2027

Apple is reportedly preparing a second-generation iPhone Air for spring 2027, keeping the ultra-thin design but addressing two of the biggest complaints about the current model: the limited single-camera system and battery life. We didn't have too many complaints about its repairability—teardown will tell if the new design changes that or not.
