I think hosting the neighborhood clean-up on a Saturday morning would get the best turnout. We could meet at the community center and split into groups for different blocks. The city usually provides trash bags and gloves if we request them a week ahead. We should also arrange for a drop-off point for bulk items. Last year we had about thirty volunteers and covered most of the area by noon.
