I spent the whole weekend rearranging the living room furniture. I moved the sofa away from the wall and angled it towards the fireplace. It completely changed how the space feels, much more open and inviting. I also swapped out the heavy curtains for some light linen ones, and now the room gets so much natural light during the day. The cats are a bit confused by the new layout, but they'll get used to it. I still need to find a new spot for that tall bookshelf, maybe in the corner by the window. It was a lot of work, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. seGkQ7NwqdSOZqK I found some really cool vintage coasters at the flea market that match the new vibe perfectly.

I finally tried my hand at making sourdough bread from scratch. I got a starter going about two weeks ago, and this weekend I baked my first loaf. It was a bit of a process, lots of waiting and folding, but the result was actually pretty good. The crust was nice and crunchy, and the inside was soft with those little airy pockets. I think I might have let it proof a little too long, but for a first attempt, I'm pretty proud. The smell of fresh bread in the house is just incredible. I'm already planning to bake another one this weekend, maybe add some rosemary and sea salt. Let me know if you want a loaf.
