Hey thanks for getting back to me about the weekend plans. I think the hiking trail you mentioned sounds great but I was wondering if we should also check the weather forecast first. I remember last time we went to that area it started raining halfway through and we had to turn back early. Also I wanted to ask if you have heard back from Jamie about whether they can join us. I know they were unsure about their schedule for next month. Let me know what you think and we can finalize the details. I am happy mRawBiDSUtStP to drive since I just got the car serviced and it should handle the winding roads fine. Actually I was also thinking we could stop by that little bakery on the way for lunch. The one with the sourdough sandwiches and the outdoor seating area. I have been craving their tomato basil soup ever since we went there last fall. Let me know if you want to adjust the meeting time to make that work.

I finally got around to organizing the bookshelf last weekend and it looks so much better now. I sorted everything by genre and then alphabetically by author within each section. It took longer than I expected because I kept stopping to flip through old favorites and ended up re-reading a few chapters. The top shelf now has all the gardening books my grandmother gave me and the bottom shelf is travel guides and maps. I still need to decide what to do with the pile of magazines I have been saving though. My neighbor came over while I was working on it and said they have been doing the same thing with their collection. They recommended an app for keeping track of what you own and what you have lent out to friends. I might give it a try since I have definitely lost track of a few books over the years. We ended up talking for almost an hour about different organizing systems and whether alphabetical order really works when you have multiple editions of the same title. It was surprisingly fun conversation for a Saturday afternoon.
