yes I reviewed the district's summer training schedule and it looks like most of the core sessions are concentrated in the first two weeks of August which should leave plenty of time for curriculum mapping before the fall term starts. the only overlap I see is the new science lab safety protocol session running concurrently with the grade-level team meetings on the 12th. I can reach out to Carol about shifting the safety session to the afternoon if that works better for everyone. Let me know if you want me to draft an updated calendar for the principal's approval.

the community garden committee settled on a plot layout that uses the space behind the old field house. we will have 12 raised beds and a small covered area for tool storage. Mark volunteered to coordinate the soil delivery for the first weekend in April. if anyone wants to put in early crops like peas or spinach we can prep those beds by mid-March.
