Putnam Takes Pair of ‘Psychological’ Thrillers
Tarini Sipahimalani at Putnam preempted North American rights to two thrillers by psychiatrist Nadi Meyar from Mollie Glick at CAA. Did You Miss Me? centers on “a patient who claims her psychiatrist has stolen her life, inspired by a real psychological condition called Capgras syndrome, in which an individual believes a loved one has been replaced by an imposter,” per the publisher, and is slated for spring 2027. How Does That Make You Feel?, “about a psychiatrist who moonlights as a vigilante serial killer,” is scheduled for release in 2028.

The Latest in Children’s and YA Deals
New projects this week include Dumped by Gloria Chao, a YA novel about a girl who is the lowly intern on a reality TV dating show, who falls into a forbidden romance with the star and the producers force her onto the show, only to portray her as the villain that America loves to hate; Sadie Suksiri’s debut YA novel The Undoing, set in a town where every girl is born with a unique magical gift, but must give it up in adolescence to be seen and loved—and three girls’ attempt to bring their friend back from her undoing; and Totally Swamped by Lynn E.
