Hi Soru Family, Marianna here with my highlights from June. Summer is here and that means one thing- newness! I honestly love my job, and the standout moments are seeing the new samples coming in through April and May, and launching our new collection for the summer. I get so excited to see what I have created come to life and even more excited to wear it.

Pieces From Our New Collection

Our new collection features lots of turquoise, pearl, coral pink, shells and suns. I think summer is a great time to layer on your jewellery and use lots of colour. My personal faves are the Arco Necklace - the hardest working necklace, looks modern and minimal worn alone but you can also add a charm added for a different tone.

I am feeling refreshed and content after a girls trip to Palma, Mallorca. We had some of the best meals. our favourites were a beautiful lunch at the Lobster Club - Champagne and lobster followed by shopping and cocktails equals the perfect girly day. We also had a fab beach day at Gran Folies, delicious tapas at El Camino and the most amazing rice dish at Flanigan that I am still dreaming about. We stayed at Es Princep Hotel in Palma where the roof pool and bar had incredible views of the sea and cathedral, the perfect spot to relax and have pre-dinner drinks.

I didn't need to go far for the sun as we have had a heatwave here in the UK. Of course, everyone rushes to the shops to get the BBQ on, including us, to make the most of the amazing sunshine. The UK is truly beautiful in the summer.

We took a few trips to our favourite Daylesford too - the scene of that reel that went viral and sparked so many comments - some not so nice! We go to Daylesford all the time, we love it there, we have treatments and lunch, and just mooch around. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a nice treat. If you haven't seen the reel yet, hop over to our Instagram page for a laugh at some of the comments. We did the reel on the spur of the moment while shopping as I had seen a post a few days earlier from Manon Mathews about Erewhon which I found hilarious, and we thought Daylesford is a bit like the UK version of Erewhon. Anyway, it was all a bit of fun!

Now, if anyone wanted some light reading this month I would suggest Hello Fashion Monthly.... because we are in it! I can't tell you how exciting it was to see it in print, so if you want to read the interview get yourself a copy. We talk about our homes, our favourite interiors and pieces that are special to us. Apart for Hello Fashion Monthly - I have just started Who Cooked The Last Supper By Rosalind Miles , a book about the history of women from the beginning.

What I'm coveting - Anyone else finding it hard to control themselves with all the new season collections coming in?! The new Aquazzura gem embellished sandels are calling my name and I have been eyeing up the new Staud + Da Adolfo collaboration too. Plus, Eres new collections are summer staples that will see you through many years to come. Where's my next trip - We are off to Portugal again in the summer and also taking my favourite companion - Teddy the pooch, down to Watergate Bay for a run around the beach. Whats next for Soru - We have just launched our new summer collection... but we have something else to revel before the end of summer. If you are a long time Soru fan, you will be seeing a familiar face soon- watch this space!
