Dear ala,

Every month we share our members' accomplishments...here, in our blog and on social media. Each accomplishment started with someone raising their hand. When they put themselves out there. When they said "yes" to an opportunity.

Each opportunity represents many more opportunities. While you may think you are seeing a list of accomplishments, I see a snapshot. A moment in time.

A single presentation may lead to another speaking engagement. Which leads to an invitation to guest on a podcast. Which leads to media coverage. Which leads to another keynote. Which connects the speaker to customers, partners, and/or students, or members.

One opportunity leads to many. Successful speakers don't walk on stage, give their speech and walk off. They build momentum by speaking up.

Bobbie and the Innovation Women team

P.S. How are you building momentum? Where will your first presentation take you?

Check out what our speakers are up to! You can find more upcoming Innovation Women talks on the Events page of our website! PLUS: Check out this month's featured speakers!

NEW PUBLICATIONS

Authorship often goes hand-in-hand with public speaking. Book an author for your next presentation. Look for the book icon indicating authors on the "Find a speaker" page. Check out our bookstore for great books from our speakers. Want to suggest that your corporate book club consider books from our bookstore? Give them this handout (below) and tell them that it's time they moved on from Dale Carnegie...his first book was written in the 1930s!
