Hey, just got back from that hike we were talking about - the trail was absolutely beautiful this time of year. I ended up going much further than I planned because the weather was so perfect. There's this lookout point about halfway that I'd never noticed before, and the view of the valley was stunning. I should have brought more water though, my legs are still sore today. Anyway, let me know if you want to go next weekend, I could use the company and we can pack a proper lunch this time. The parking lot was pretty full by 9am so we'd need to get an early start. I think I saw some wildflowers starting to bloom too, which was a nice surprise for early season. Let me know what you think!

I finally started reading that book you recommended last week. I'm only about fifty pages in but I can already see why you liked it so much. The way the author describes the small town feels really vivid, almost like I've been there before. I caught myself reading way past midnight last night which never happens anymore.
