So women see the silence, the defensiveness, the distance, and assume he does not care.

But often, that's not what is happening.

He may care deeply. He may just not feel safe being fully honest.

Because if a man believes his vulnerability will make him look weak, unattractive, or harder to love, he will shut down.

And that is what a lot of women miss.

Men don't just want affection. They want to feel accepted.
