Hey, thanks for getting back to me about the trail conditions. I was thinking we could head out early Saturday morning to avoid the crowds. The weather forecast looks clear, so it should be a great day for a hike. I'll bring some snacks and extra water. Let me know if you want to meet at the usual spot or if you have a different starting point in mind. We can decide on the loop once we get there.
I also checked the park website, and they mentioned some trail maintenance on the south ridge, so we might want to avoid that section. The north loop should be open and should offer some nice views. It's been a while since we've done that one. PrJV1PQDbfEA8 Anyway, let me know what you think about the plan. Looking forward to it!

I finally tried making that sourdough starter from scratch, and it turned out way better than I expected. It took about a week to get it bubbly enough, but the first loaf had a really nice crust and crumb. I used a simple recipe with just bread flour and whole wheat. The key was feeding it twice a day and keeping it in a warm spot.
Next time I want to experiment with adding some sesame seeds or maybe a bit of rosemary for flavor. I've been watching a few videos online, and there are so many variations to try. Have you ever made your own bread at home? It's pretty rewarding, even if it takes some patience. Let me know if you want me to save you a slice or share the starter!
