Hey, yeah, I finally got around to trying out that new pizza place on Elm Street. It was pretty good, not gonna lie. The crust was nice and crispy, just the way I like it. We got the one with the spicy sausage and roasted peppers. I think next time I'd try the white pizza with ricotta and spinach. Anyway, just wanted to give you my two cents. Let me know if you want to grab a slice there sometime this week. I'm free Thursday or Friday after work. Let me know what works for you.
Also, I finally fixed that leaky faucet in the bathroom. It was driving me crazy. Turns out it was just a worn-out washer. A five-dollar part and ten minutes of my time, and it's good as new. I felt pretty accomplished, haha. Anyway, talk later.
Oh, and I saw that documentary you mentioned. It was wild. I had no idea about the whole history of it. Really makes you think. We should do a double feature next weekend. I'll bring the snacks.

I just finished reading that book you lent me. Wow. I couldn't put it down after the third chapter. The character development was really something else. I have so many questions about the ending though. We need to talk about it. I think the author left it deliberately ambiguous, but I have my own theory.
Work has been pretty busy lately. We just kicked off a big project, and I'm buried in spreadsheets and meetings. It's fine, keeps me out of trouble. How are things on your end? Did you end up going to that concert last weekend? I heard the band puts on a great show.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Just wanted to say thanks for the book recommendation. I'll drop it off at your place later this week. Maybe we can grab that coffee you owe me. Talk soon!
