Hey! Totally forgot to ask about your trip to the coast last weekend. Was the weather as good as the forecast predicted? We ended up staying home and finally tackled that massive puzzle we bought ages ago. Took us almost the whole weekend, but it was so satisfying to finish it. Anyway, let me know if you're free for a hike next Saturday. There's a new trail I've been wanting to check out near the reservoir. Should be lovely this time of year with all the wildflowers blooming. Let me know what you think! Oh, by the way, I finally tried that recipe you sent me. It was amazing! The sauce was perfect. I added a bit of extra garlic though, you know me. Hope you're having a great week so far! Talk soon! Also, the garden is starting to look really nice. The tomatoes are ripening faster than we can eat them, so we'll probably be making sauces and salsas for the next few weekends. If you want some fresh veggies, just let me know. Thanks so much for the book recommendation! I just finished reading it last night and I absolutely loved it. The character development was incredible, and I didn't see that plot twist coming at all. I'm definitely going to check out the author's other works. Have you read any of their earlier stuff? I heard the second book in the series is even better, but I wanted to get your take on it first before diving in.
