With no real plan except that they wanted to fish, Poppa waited until we got to the Ozarks to look for a place to stay. Pulling into a little, one-pump gas station with a sign that read “Vacation Rentals,” Poppa went inside and, sight unseen, paid for a cabin described as “two bedrooms on the lake.” Following a map, we drove through a heavily wooded area and got lost twice, but we finally found it. July 7th is International Peace & Love Day. This day is a reminder that the simplest moments — shared walks, wagging tails, and unconditional love — bring the most peace into our lives. Our pets show us every day what it means to love without limits and live in the moment.

Celebrate by giving your furry friend a little extra kindness today — because a peaceful home starts with a happy, healthy pet. – The Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food team.
