Plus, a controversial tech ad goes viral

Good afternoon. If you have a spare $60,000 lying around, might we suggest spending it on a gently worn leather jacket? To explain: The Tom Ford jacket belonged to, and is signed by, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. It’s going up for sale at Sotheby’s tomorrow, and somehow, it’s not the only piece of tech bro clothing that has hit an auction block. Mark Zuckerberg’s infamous hoodie sold for almost $16,000 last year (rumor has it the t-shirt-and-chain combo he’s rocking these days is not for sale, at any price), and Steve Jobs’s striped bow tie fetched nearly $36,000. While we can’t speak to whether these items are good investments, they certainly can be a very expensive Halloween costume.
