We have been backing Go Zero for several years and have watched them transform into one of the most exciting businesses in the UK EV charging space. The progress over the last 12 months in particular has been significant, and we wanted to put this opportunity in front of you.
Go Zero builds and provides software to operate commercial EV charging infrastructure across retail, leisure, hospitality, and public sector sites nationwide. They are not a startup finding their feet. They have a contracted pipeline of over 3,000 sites across blue chip customers, with installations actively underway, and a growing base of recurring revenue earned from platform fees and profit share via their install base.
On the commercial side, the contracted pipeline is substantial. Major contracts at or near signature stage include Iceland Foods (480 sites, contract final) and Co-op Retail (250 sites, contract final), alongside Horizon Parking at 2,500 sites with heads of terms signed. Together, these blue chip customers represent £122.8m in potential total installation revenue and £54.5m in annual recurring revenue by year five. Growth is being driven through a tri-party partnership with CEF and Rolec, giving Go Zero a distribution advantage no competitor currently matches.
They are raising £300,000 with EIS advanced assurance to bridge operations through to the commencement of installations under the larger contracts. The raise funds a dedicated project manager, covers short-term working capital, and provides a margin of safety into revenue generation. Circa 50% of the round is already subscribed from existing shareholders.
This is not a business looking for validation. It is a business asking for a short bridge into a very well-defined near-term position, underpinned by 15+ year site agreements and contracted cashflows.
