AI should be used to achieve an outcome, that's what I care about. Agentic AI is a tool that can be used to achieve better outcomes faster and also achieve more predictable results.
I think devs believe that AI is mostly hype, but even the big dawgs are adopting it for majority of their development. Google is said to have 75% of its new code generated by AI. That's actually pretty insane to think about considering a few years ago the landscape was totally different.
I surveyed my audience asking where they were with AI, here were the results:
The reality is that MOST developers even don't really know what agentic AI is or what it's used for. OVER HALF of them basically replaced stack overflow with ChatGPT or Claude.
And then they wonder why they're being outpaced lol
What is agentic AI?
Simply, it's where we have the AI working in our files making edits directly. Usually we think code edits but this can also be image generation, working with CLIs or APIs, running tests, etc.
Most of you reading this are probably level 1-2 at AI development. Here's the progression:
I think of it like No AI -> AI as a search engine -> AI as a pair programmer -> AI as an agent executing small tasks -> AI as a system to build larger projects as autonomously as possible
Where it Began
At some point you've likely tried ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude Code. You ask questions, it helps give you answers, and may even work on your project. but you're still coding like an AI toddler (just being honest here).
Then, there was HUGE talk of "vibe coding" where you delegate everything to AI. The problem here is that the typical vibe coder knew nothing about technology and would introduce countless security flaws such as storing passwords in plain text.
As a result real devs were kinda like yea I'm not doing that junk.
What they failed to realize is that these vibe coded apps sucked because the "developers" sucked. AI just enhanced their suck.
AI also shouldn't be replacing you, it should be causing you to adapt your skillset to focus on bigger more challenging tasks.
Clearly there is a big gap here. Real apps are using agents, most devs don't know anything about agentic AI or how to use it effectively.
That's exactly why I created Agentic AI & Claude Code.
This is designed to give you the most value with AI as quickly as possible. It's not a just a "how to type a prompt in to Claude" course. It's all the systems, skills, and subagents I've been working with over the last 6+ months.
Including how to get AI to safely build out full feature sets that can run for multiple hours (without having to check every command for permissions). The cool part is when done right you're not producing AI slop, because the AI is only implementing what it was told to implement and verifies everything.
Who is this Course for?
AI users, people who want to use AI for building, and people or want to enhance their businesses with AI.
This course is great for beginners, but only those who are serious about putting in the effort. It's like investing...you spend a few hours and save days of effort over time with your new skills.
With the builder tier you'll have the opportunity to have 2x 1:1 calls with me and a community for any questions. This will give me a chance to hear exactly how you're looking to use AI so I can create the best possible program for you.
