Community Announcement July 10, 2026 Contact: Jennifer Stock 415-686-1864 NOAA seeks public comment on a new management plan for Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries NOAA’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries is developing a new management plan for Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries. This plan will set the management priorities for both sanctuaries for the next decade. Public input is the first phase in the process. NOAA will accept written comments from the public for 45 days. NOAA will also accept oral comments at the July 31 meeting of the sanctuary advisory councils. Comments must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on August 24, 2026.
