A summer sandal isn’t hard to find. A summer sandal that’s comfortable, actually cute and survives more than a few weekends? That’s a whole other story. The (very viral) Crocs Miami sandal promises to check all three boxes, so we had five editors put them to the test for over six weeks to see if they’re really worth the money.
At $45, the sandal won all five of us over. My flat feet made it through long days without the usual aches, which is the usual case for me with minimalist sandals. I also love that the sandals fit well without making my feet look big — a common problem when you have larger feet (I’m usually a women’s size 10). In my family, I’m notorious for destroying shoes, so when I say these hold up, I mean it. I wore mine in grass, on pavement, to the beach and even on gravelly ground, and still didn’t see any scuffs or tears on the sandals.
