| Reported drowning under investigation at Milford Quarries |

State and local police are investigating a reported drowning in Milford, Massachusetts, Saturday evening. Information is extremely limited at this time, however, the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the Milford Police Department and Massachusetts State Police detectives are investigating the incident, and video from the scene shows there was a dive team in the water at the Milford Quarries. Milford police added that search crews are still on scene, referring all further questions to the DA’s office, which said it is not releasing additional information at this time due to the ongoing investigation. |

A floating bar and restaurant on New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee was destroyed by a fire on Saturday. Photos shared to Facebook show the extensive damage after flames ripped through “The Dive.” “Today has been the hardest day in our journey. Watching The Dive burn was absolutely heartbreaking, and we are devastated by this loss,” the post read. “What matters most, though, is that every single person made it off safely. For that, we are incredibly grateful.” |

| 2 firefighters injured in Dorchester house blaze |

A fire ripped through much of a triple-decker home in Boston’s Dorchester on Saturday morning, sending two firefighters to the hospital. Crews arrived to the three-family home on Savin Hill Avenue around 10:30 a.m., according to the Boston Fire Department. Both the rear porches and interior stairs were damaged as a result of the fire, and a car garage was also affected. The siding on the neighboring home was also damaged. Neighbors told firefighters that the home has been vacant for years, officials said. |

Any discussion on beloved regional foods in New England has to include lobster rolls. Much like South Shore-style bar pizza, North Shore-style roast beef sandwiches and Rhode Island calamari, everyone seems to have their favorite place for one, and believes that theirs and theirs alone is the best. With lobster rolls, the geographic area is quite a bit bigger than with other regional items, stretching from the swanky seaside suburbs of New York City in Southwest Connecticut to the wild and remote lands of Downeast Maine. |
