| Good morning, Today the Tribune Editorial Board looks at the airports who have decided to experiment with a privatized TSA and we argue this is not as new an idea as some people think. But in a dangerous world, does it make sense? Read on to see what we think. Monday we applaud Mayor Johnson for jump-starting housing. The only problem for Chicago is that the Mayor Johnson in question is Cavalier Johnson, the mayor of Milwaukee. Sunday, the board tried to talk some sense into the debate over renters' protections, arguing that Chicago historically has encouraged home ownership of bungalows, condos and two-flat and that renters cannot expect to be inoculated forever against neighborhoods that are appreciating in value. This is a hot topic. Read on to see if you agree with our view. Our Opinion section is pretty stacked. We've got State Rep. Amy Elik on the need for ethics reform in Springfield. John T. Finally, the editorial board also wrote Sunday about CAPTCHA, those irritating puzzles you have to do to prove you are human. Guess what? Some AI bots now can figure those out. That means we sentient beings are going to come up with some other way to prove our own existence.
