National Weather Service confirms two tornadoes from Monday’s storms as the Chicago region cleans up Tuesday

National Weather Service workers confirmed that an EF-1 tornado hit Lansing as severe thunderstorms that across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana on Monday, pelting the region with up to four inches of rain and tennis ball-sized hail. The weather survey crews also confirmed an EF-0 tornado swept through Glen Ellyn.
