A new Support Ticket has been created by Zachary Moonshine:
Subject: Urgent: Duplicate/unauthorized newsletter emails being sent through Jamroom Mailgun integration
Hello Jamroom Support,
I am seeing an issue with outbound emails being sent through my Jamroom Mailgun setup.
Yesterday I sent a normal newsletter campaign:
"369,935 Metalheads Tuned In as Frolic Unleashed Bay Area Thrash on The Zach Moonshine Show!"
The newsletter completed successfully and sent to my normal contact lists.
Today, some of my contacts are reporting that they are receiving additional emails appearing to come from me. The recipients appear to be people on my existing Jamroom email lists.
The concerning details:
The emails are using the subject line from the legitimate newsletter.
Some recipients are seeing it appear as a reply ("Re:") to the previous newsletter.
New sends are still appearing in the Mailgun logs with current timestamps.
The Jamroom Newsletter Browser shows the original campaign only, and I do not see a new newsletter campaign being created.
The Jamroom Queue Viewer does not show a large email queue backlog.
I have already rotated my Mailgun API key and updated the Jamroom MailGun API settings, but the issue is still occurring.
Can you please help me determine:
If Jamroom is generating these sends from the newsletter system, a scheduled task, or another process?
Where I can check Jamroom logs to identify what is triggering these emails?
Whether there is any known issue with the Mailgun integration or newsletter module causing duplicate sends?
I can provide Mailgun log IDs, timestamps, and screenshots if needed.
Thank you,
Zach
