Sharing or taking medication this way can harm your health and break the law. Instead, here are some safe options:
1. Medication Disposal Bags:
If you have unused medicines, ask us about safe disposal bags. These help you safely dispose of medications without ending up in landfills or drinking water.
2. Wyoming Medication Donation Program:
This program takes unused, unexpired medicines and gives them to Wyoming residents who cannot afford their prescriptions.
- You may donate sealed, unexpired medicines (no controlled substances or refrigerated meds).
- Anyone can donate. You can mail them or drop them off at locations across Wyoming.
- To ask for donated medicines, you must:
- Live in Wyoming
- Have a low income (less than double the federal poverty level)
- Not have enough prescription insurance
