Hello from your Bay Pines VA Healthcare System,

Throughout the month of August, Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is offering free pneumonia vaccines to all eligible Veterans. Each Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., walk-ins are welcome at one of the locations below. Veterans will be evaluated by our clinicians, and vaccines will be administered to those who are eligible.

• C.W.Y. VA Medical Center – waiting area on the first floor of building 100, outside of MOD D
• Lee County Healthcare Center – first floor lobby, between 1b desk and the canteen
• All other Bay Pines VA Clinics – check in at the front desk

If you are over the age of 50, come to the event or ask your provider about getting the vaccine during your next appointment. If you received the pneumonia vaccine at a non-VA facility, please inform your PACT team so they can update your medical record. If you have any questions, or you are unable to receive the vaccine during the August event, reach out to your Primary Care Team for more information.
