A 560-page YOLO book, 11 video lessons, and a year of everything else. You save $577.

Every engineer who has shipped an object detector has the same story.

The model hits 0.94 mAP in the notebook. Everyone is happy. Then it goes on a camera mounted two meters higher than the one in your training set, under a light nobody planned for, looking at twelve classes instead of three. And it starts missing the things that actually matter.

The gap between a detector that runs and a detector that ships turns out to be most of the job. It is also the part almost nobody teaches.

And it is the gap with money on the other side of it. Object detection is the computer vision work people actually commission. Nobody pays an engineer to run a diffusion model. They pay one to count what came off the line, spot the defect, flag the person in the restricted zone, read the plate. Every one of those has a budget attached, and every one of them is detection.

If an LLM can do your work, you will be replaced by an LLM. What is left, and what still gets commissioned, is judgment: the call about why this failed on your data when it worked on the sample, and what to change first.

It is also closable. Engineers cross that gap all the time, and the ones who do are not smarter than you. They had the architecture set in front of them in order, with code that ran, instead of forty open tabs and a half-finished repo.

YOLO Object Detection, 2nd Edition covers it end to end. The full YOLO family from v1 through the current generation: a 560-page eBook, 11 video lessons, 9 production projects on real problems, and every line of working source code with Colab notebooks that run on the first click.

You could assemble most of this from blog posts and model answers, and some people will. What you cannot assemble that way is the order. An LLM will hand you a training loop with a quiet bug in the augmentation pipeline and describe it with complete confidence. Knowing which of six plausible fixes is the real one is the part that takes a curriculum.

You are not starting over either. What you already know transfers. What you need is the current architecture set, in order, with code that runs.

What PyImageSearch users say:

"I made a whole program that detected cars and uploaded that variable to a database for an android app to access. The presentation went so well we had industry people saying we should patent our idea and I even got offered a job at Exxon on the spot because I was the programming lead."

Marquise Cooper, Student

"I've just finished my masters as an engineer and already got a job at Ramboll where I will mainly work with computer vision. Thank you for providing a great site and course (and helping me getting a job)."

Andreas Kristensen, Computer Vision Engineer

Through Sunday night, you can take the whole thing together with a full year of PyImageSearch University.

YOLO 2nd Edition on its own: $745. YOLO 2nd Edition plus a year of University: $795.

Fifty dollars separates those two. For that, you add 120+ courses, 700+ tutorials, 94 certifications and 115+ hours of video to the object detection work you were already buying.

Against the $1,372 those two cost separately, you save $577.

$795 covers your first year. It renews at $495/year after that, and you can cancel any time.

Ship one detector that holds up and the arithmetic on $795 answers itself.

Picture the next detector you hand over. It holds frame rate on the hardware the client actually has, not the workstation you built it on. It survives the bad mount and the light nobody planned for. And when it drifts, you know where to look, because you know why it works.

If you already own part of the catalog, there is a larger option running alongside this one: YOLO 2nd Edition plus Diffusion plus GPT Mastery, all three for $2,039 instead of $2,719. You save $680, with lifetime access to all three. It is on the same page.

Everything closes Sunday, August 23 at 11:59 PM ET.

P.S. Get 50% off Production Deployment Vol. 1, the 140+ page kit as an add-on. This is how to get a model out of your machine and into a running container. Save $148. Detection is half the job.
