Attention VA Portland Veterans,
I‑5 southbound through the Rose Quarter will be closed 24/7 for up to 5 weeks starting Friday, September 11, 2026, due to major repairs. Expect significant delays as travel times may be 2–3x longer and congestion may extend into Washington.
If this closure will impact your ability to get to your VA appointments, you’re welcome to reschedule. Please plan extra travel time or consider alternate routes/modes of transportation. This will also affect the Portland/Vancouver VA shuttle.
