Connection Explorer v1.2 Now Available
Multi-Device Monitoring, Network Visualizations, and More
We have released Connection Explorer™ v1.2, packed with updates that will help you better understand where your data is going and who your apps are talking to. You can check for the update directly within Connection Explorer or download the latest version from your account page.
One of the biggest additions in this release is multi-device support. You can now install Connection Explorer on multiple PCs across your network, link them together, and view all of their connection activity in a single, combined map view. Multi-device support also extends to alerts and other connection information, so from any PC running Connection Explorer, you can keep an eye on activity across your linked devices without having to check each machine individually.
This release also features a completely overhauled map experience with new bandwidth arcs that visualize where data is going and coming from, plus a new Visualizations panel with entirely new ways to explore your connection data, including Constellation, Connection Flow, Network Weather, and App Fingerprint views. Along with improved map clarity, enhanced IPv6 detection, and refined dark mode readability, Connection Explorer v1.2 is our most capable release yet.
If you haven't tried Connection Explorer yet, you can try it free for 30 days, and it is also included with our award-winning suite, Object Desktop®. And as always, if there is a feature you would like to see added to Connection Explorer, make sure to let us know.
