 Dear Veteran,
We want to make all Veterans aware of an immediate change to the North Parking Lot entrance at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System.
Due to construction at a neighboring facility, traffic patterns on our campus have been adjusted to maintain safety and ensure continued access for our Veterans. We have been informed that this construction will be ongoing for the next four weeks.
Effective immediately, all Veterans are encouraged to use the NEW entrance on 16th Street for access to the North Parking Lot. The 16th Street entrance, located between N. Kelley Avenue and McMechan Parkway is now the preferred and primary route when arriving on campus.
The former entrance on McMechan Parkway will now serve as the primary exit-only point. While the road has been converted to allow two-way traffic for alternate entry if needed, please be aware that this area will also be used by large trucks and for dock access. Exercise caution due to construction activity and pedestrian traffic.
Additionally, we encourage all Veterans to use the parking garage, which can be accessed from 13th Street, directly across from OU.
Signage is in place to help guide traffic, and staff will be available to assist as needed.
