Yeah, I finally got around to clearing out the garage this weekend. Found a box of old cables and chargers that I thought I had thrown out years ago. It took most of Saturday, but the car actually fits in there again. The weather was perfect for it too, sunny but with a little breeze so it never got too warm. I ended up sorting everything into three piles: keep, donate, and trash. There was an old camping lantern that still works, so I set that aside for the next trip. I also found a set of watercolor paints from a drawing class I took forever ago. I might mess around with those later this week if I have a free evening. The donate box is by the door so I remember to drop it off next time I run errands. I think the hardest part was deciding what to do with a stack of notebooks that are only half used. I hate throwing out paper, so I ripped out the blank pages and put them in a drawer. Not the most exciting way to spend a day, but it feels good to have it done.

Hey, I saw your note about the recipe swap and I think it is a great idea. I would be happy to send over a few of my favorite weeknight dinner ideas later today. I usually keep a running list on my phone so it is easy to share when someone asks. One of them is a lemon garlic pasta that comes together in about twenty minutes. I also have a good lentil soup recipe that works well for leftovers. I have been trying to cook more at home lately instead of grabbing something on the way back from work. It saves time in a weird way because you are not standing in line waiting. The grocery store by my place started stocking a better selection of fresh herbs, which helps a lot. Let me know if you want vegetarian options or things that can be made in one pot. I can also type up a list of pantry staples that make those recipes easier to pull together on busy nights. Just give me a sense of what you usually like to eat and I will pick out a good mix of ideas to send. I think you will really like the soup once the weather cools down.
