Hey, thanks for getting back to me about Saturday. I actually switched my plan and I am staying in the city after all.

Work ended up being a lot later than I expected on Friday, so I just wanted a low key morning with no alarms.

I did manage to finally clean out the hallway closet and found that blue cooler we thought was gone. It was behind the winter coats the whole time.

Anyway, do you still want to try that new taco spot near the park next week instead? I heard the line moves pretty fast even on weekends.

Let me know what your schedule looks like and we can figure out a good time to meet up. Hope your weekend was relaxing.

Okay so the hike ended up being way muddier than we expected. We only made it about three miles before turning around.

But honestly the fog rolling through the trees was unreal. It was like something out of a movie.

Next time I will bring better boots and maybe a spare pair of socks. My feet were still wet even after we got back to the car.

Also I finally finished that long audiobook during the drive home. It was good but the ending felt a little rushed.

Anyway, thanks for the trail recommendation. We should try the ridge loop once the weather clears up. I will text you later this week.
