iza,
On kickoff day for every cohort of the 60-Day Lifehack Bootcamp, I give the same warning. It goes like this:
|
“I hate to be a buzzkill, because I know you’re excited. But there will be a point in this Bootcamp where you ask yourself: why have I done this to myself? If I had a ripcord, I would pull it right now.”
Demir, to every incoming cohort |
Strange thing for the guy selling the program to tell you. Here’s why I say it anyway: the middle is where everyone wants to quit. Week four, week five. The novelty is gone, the rebuild is mid-demolition, and your old habits are fighting for their lives. Every meaningful thing you’ve ever done had that exact stretch in it. Bootcamp just tells you about it in advance.
It’s also why the whole thing is built like a rollercoaster instead of an app subscription. Once the ride starts, you’re strapped in until the end. The guarantee works the same way, on purpose: finish everything, apply it, and if you don’t get the transformation, every dollar comes back on graduation day. You can bail before the ride starts, and you can get your money back after it ends. What you can’t do is quit in the middle, because the middle is exactly where the transformation is hiding.
Which brings me to this Friday. Fit calls for the September cohort close Friday, August 28, eleven days before kickoff, so that we can properly onboard you. People who start behind stay behind, and I don’t let people start behind.
