Starting on Sunday, September 13, ART, Metrobus and OmniRide routes that normally run on Wilson Boulevard in Virginia Square will redirect onto Fairfax Drive, and bus stops on Wilson Boulevard between North Monroe Street and 10th Street North will close. Additional stops will open on Fairfax Drive to serve the route detours.
These detours will be in place for the duration of the Wilson Boulevard Streetscape Improvements project, which is expected to be completed in late 2028.

About the Project
This project will reconstruct sidewalks on Wilson Boulevard between North Kenmore Street and 10th Street North and will reconfigure the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and 10th Street North for more predictable travel patterns.
