I added voice control to my pour-over coffee app. Using OpenAI’s latest voice model, I can have a natural back-and-forth conversation with the app and change recipe settings—even after I’ve started a recipe. I gave the voice model tools to change any recipe setting. The app used the Gleam voice and can explain how to pour with a gooseneck kettle. It was awesome, and our babysitter couldn’t stop laughing yesterday. I'd need to figure out pricing to cover the cost, but it could help with onboarding new users. The iPhone Duo is coming next month, and you can pre-order an iPhone 18 Pro today. There’s also an Xcode detail worth knowing.
Makefiles for Agents Whenever I start a new project or revive an old one, I use my AppCreator skill to create a Makefile with build commands my agents can use. Copy it for your next project. I used it to revive my 16-year-old iPhone app. Talk soon, P.S. Need help with your iPhone app? Book a time on my calendar. Let’s chat. |
