That’s the challenge we’ve posed to teenagers for the last four years, and, more than 51,000 submissions later, we can say with certainty that the answer is yes. For proof, just take a look at last year’s 17 winning entries. Students don’t need to write to a specific theme or use a set structure or style. Instead, they just need to focus on powerful moments from their lives. We want to hear their stories, told in their unique voices, and we hope they’ll experiment with style and form as they work.
