PIZZA BINGO IS THIS THURSDAY, SEPT. 24!
Join us on Thursday, September 24 at 5:00 PM for Pizza Bingo on the Wolftrap field.
You won't want to miss a night of bingo, pizza, mini bundt cakes, a raffle, and prizes. Everyone is a winner!

FIRST DINING FOR DOLLARS EVENT!
VIENNA INN - SEPT. 28 AND 29
Please join us for the first Wolftrap PTA Dining for Dollars event of the year at the Vienna Inn!
How it works:
- Dine anytime between 8 am and 10 pm on September 28th or September 29th
- Mention you are with Wolftrap Elementary, and 15% of sales will be donated to the Wolftrap PTA to help support our students and teachers.
YEARBOOK COVER CONTEST IS UNDERWAY!
Calling all 3rd-6th Graders! Show off your Wolfie Spirit by submitting original artwork for this year’s Yearbook Cover Contest.
The design must include:
- This year’s theme: We Run As One
- School name: Wolftrap Elementary
- School year: 2026-2027

Instructions: Entries are due by October 19th
- Use an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper oriented VERTICALLY.
- Any art medium may be used (crayons, paint, pastels, markers, etc.).
- NO clip art, internet files, digital art, or copied work are allowed.
- Be sure to fill all the space with COLOR!
- Then submit your art to the front office with your name, teacher, and grade on the back.
Wolftrap Teachers and Staff will judge the entries. All entries appear in the Yearbook! The winner will receive a free yearbook. Please keep sending your photos from school events and any questions to: yearbook@wolftrappta.org
FOOD FOR OTHERS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED.
The Wolftrap community has been collecting food for Food For Others, a nonprofit that collects food and donates it to the local community in need.
How it works:
- We need volunteers to pick up the food from the PTA closet on Fridays between 1:30p-3:00p and drop off at the Loading Dock at the Food For Others Warehouse. Volunteer here!
- The food is all in the refrigerator of the PTA Closet (in the cafeteria) and will need to be put in the cooler and/or bags and brought to your car and dropped off at: 2938 Prosperity Ave Fairfax VA.
- If you use the school cooler, please return it to the PTA Closet by 10:30a on Mondays to help collect for the following week.

BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY IS COMING!
Mark your calendars — Wednesday, October 14 at 8:00 is the Wolftrap Bike to School Day and we want to see EVERYONE rolling in!
Dust off those helmets, pump up those tires, and let's fill the streets with pedal power! It's a great way to get some fresh air, have fun with friends, and start the school day with a smile.
- Wear your helmet
- If you have lights or bright colors please wear them so our neighbors can see us coming
- Arrive ready to RIDE, the train starts at Liberty Tree Ln and Beulah, but jump on anywhere along the route.
See you on the road — let's make October 14 the most fun commute of the year!
HAUNTED MARSHALL HOUSE
Looking for some spooky fun this October?
The Haunted Marshall House is back and open on multiple dates throughout the month!
Event Dates: October 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31
Hours:
- Weekdays: 6–8 PM
- Weekends: 5–8 PM
- Halloween Day: 11 AM–3 PM
Location: 7731 Leesburg Pike — Enter through Door 13
