Lululemon, Coach boost AI capabilities with Google UCP
Google is enhancing its Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) within the Merchant Center, offering retailers new AI capabilities. These updates include features like cart transfer to retailer sites and enhanced checkout flow testing, initially rolling out in the US with plans for expansion to Australia and Canada. Coach and Kate Spade have integrated UCP-based checkout, allowing direct purchases from Google Search. Additional AI solutions include performance insights and conversational shopping on YouTube that is being beta tested with Lululemon product recommendations.
