Join us next TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29^TH at 7:00pm for the first PTSA Meeting of the year The meeting will be held in the school Library. Attending the first PTSA meeting of the year is crucial for all members who want a voice in our school community. The first order of business at the meeting for members will be to review and vote on the official 2026–2027 school year budget during this session. PTSA funds cannot be allocated or spent on essential student programs, teacher appreciation events, or campus grants until the budget is formally approved by a quorum. Beyond the financial vote, this meeting offers the opportunity to connect with the board, hear updates on upcoming initiatives, and collaborate on ways to enrich our students' educational experience.

Mike Binetti - Co-Chair All-Night Grad Party

Hi, I’m Mike Binetti, and I’m honored to serve as one of the Edison High School ANGP Co- Chairs alongside Corea. We’re working hard to provide the Class of 2027 with a safe and

memorable event. I recently retired from the U.S. Army as an Engineer Officer with my final assignment at Arlington National Cemetery. My wife, Heather, and I have lived in the area since 2017, and we have two children: Sabrina, a Junior (Class of 2028) and Andrew (a Freshman at Temple University). Sabrina is active in Edison Field Hockey and community activities, which keeps our family busy year-round.

I am also a board member of American Legion Post 176 and serve as a Neighborhood Rep for my HOA.

Corea Smith - Co-Chair, All-Night Grad Party

I am Corea Smith, proud mom of three amazing daughters, an Edison senior, an Edison junior, and a college sophomore (Edison grad). We are a military family, I am active duty Air Force and my husband, Taylor, recently retired, is a civilian employee. Mike Binetti and I co-chair the All Night Grad Party, planning and executing a great event on graduation night celebrating our seniors safely.  It’s a big event and we will need our Edison community to help make it a success.  I look forward to meeting you and working with you this year. Go Eagles! 

National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Edison High School and the PTSA will be participating in Reflections again for the 2026-2027 school year. This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me”. When our students share what their culture means to them, they help all of us—classmates, teachers, and families—better understand the unique stories and backgrounds that make our school whole. We invite students to join us in exploring this wonderful theme. More details will be in an upcoming newsletter and at our September 29.
