Having spent a decade at the helm of Google, Eric Schmidt is widely regarded as one of the fathers of modern Silicon Valley. He’s long been called upon for his national-security nous, too. Today, he combines both areas of expertise in his defence-tech work. He founded a drone company and has become one of the most influential foreign participants in Ukraine’s military-tech capability.
