PTA and Family Room Storage Donations Needed
Our PTA closet is gone — but we gained a whole room!
We're sharing the new space with the Family Room and Mrs. Gadley has given us the go-ahead to furnish it.
If you have gently used shelving, bookcases, or bins with lids you no longer need, we'd love a donation. Once we're organized, we'll cozy the space up to match!

Homecoming Parade Volunteers Needed!
DES needs your help to make our float a success!
How can you help?
1) We need students and parents to help decorate the float Friday, October 23rd. We'll be in the school parking lot at 6:30PM
2) Walk in the parade on Saturday, October 11th around 9AM. (The town provides us with an arrival time, and will update when we receive it)
Participants are welcomed (and encouraged) to dress up. This year's float theme is: Hollywood Through the Years!
6th graders who participate in the parade will be allowed to ride on the float.

All FCPS volunteers must register and complete an application through the Volunteer FCPS web-based platform. Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack 1577 is having an ice cream social and bike rodeo on Sunday, September 27th at 2pm at Trinity. Bring your bike or scooter to test your skills on our course and meet the rest of the pack to see if scouting is right for your family.
Ages K through 5th grade. Trinity Presbyterian, 651 Dranesville Rd.

 HHS Band Showcase
Saturday, September 26 | 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Herndon High School Stadium
Join us for a full day of music as more than 30 bands from across Fairfax and Loudoun counties come to Herndon High School to perform!
Pride of Herndon is performing at 1:00pm and kids get free admission if they wear a Dranesville t-shirt!
Tickets: $12 (adults) / $6 (students)
