Feedback Opportunity for Slater Park
Good news: Slater Park is getting a makeover! Arlington County is excited to kick off the Slater Park Improvements project. This renovation is funded by the Arlington Neighborhoods Program (ANP) and will:
- Renovate the existing playground.
- Replace existing furnishings and amenities including benches, picnic tables, signage, fencing, bike racks and receptacles.
- Provide accessibility throughout the park with play equipment, ADA paths, and site circulation.
- Rejuvenate the grass field.
- Remove invasive plants and replace with native landscaping.
- Provide stormwater management through raingarden bioretention.
Staff would like your thoughts on potential play options and any experiences or insights you can share about the park. You can use this feedback form to provide input on those items. Staff read every comment and your feedback will be valuable to inform the final design.
