Hey a,

It's been absolutely boiling this summer in Barcelona.

Can you believe that it reached over 40°C here! A new record for Catalonia.

And while that might not sound crazy hot to someone who lives in a hotter climate, it's EXTREMELY worrying for us here.

Because of this, I actually learnt a new word this week... "torrid".

More specifically, I learnt the phrase "torrid nights" ("noches tórridas" in Spanish — so I learnt one phrase in two languages!).

It means "very hot nights that don't drop below 25°C". It's so specific, isn't it?

Anyway, now that the weather's finally cooled down, I can start writing and filming YouTube videos again!
