The Committee on Governance of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) has nominated Andrew J. Rinn, JD, CFP, CLU, ChFC, Assistant Vice President-Advanced Strategies with Sammons Financial in West Des Moines, Iowa, to be NAIFA’s 2027 Secretary. Rinn, who currently serves on NAIFA’s National Professional Development Committee and Political Action Committee, is a NAIFA-National Trustee and member of the FSP Foundation Board. He has been a NAIFA member since 2000. He previously served as the Chapter President of the Des Moines Society of Financial Service Professionals and was the President Elect of the National Board for the Society of Financial Service Professionals at the time of FSP’s merger with NAIFA. As incoming NAIFA Secretary, Rinn would be in line to serve as President-Elect in 2028 and President in 2029.
