Colorado weather: ‘Most widespread rainfall’ in years forecast for state, snow possible in mountains

Tropical storms and a surge of moisture from a hurricane spinning near Mexico are expected to send waves of heavy rain across southern Colorado this week, according to the National Weather Service.
