One person is dead after being hit by a train along U.S. 34 in Evans early Wednesday morning. 

Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help to find a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen Monday in Lakewood.

When deputies detained him, Tyler Boyd Reilly, 40, struggled, kicked a deputy in the legs, threatened the deputies and their families, called them a homophobic slur and yelled at them before being taken to the ground, according to the affidavit.

The fatal August 2025 shooting happened on a pedestrian path east of the Regional Transportation District’s Lakewood-Wadsworth Station, north of the light rail tracks, police said.
