SUPASIDEBAR 1.3.0 + 1.2.0
Link a Space to a browser or profile
I've released SupaSidebar 1.3.0, with easier browser setup for Spaces, bookmark updates, and automatic backups. I've also included the privacy changes from 1.2.0 below. The new video walks through these recent updates.
In 1.3.0
Link a Space to a browser or profile. For example, link your Work Space to your Chrome work profile. Click the link icon beside the Space's name to set it up.
-
Links open there by default. You can still choose a different browser or profile with Open With, and your Air Traffic Control rules still apply.
-
Live Tabs shows only tabs from that browser or profile.
Bring new bookmarks into that Space. Added bookmarks in the linked browser or profile? Click the Space's link icon, choose "Check for new bookmarks", and pick the bookmarks you want to add.
Drag and drop links. Drag a link from your browser into the sidebar to save it.
Back up your links automatically. Save backup copies of your links and folders. Choose where to save them and how often.
Moving from Zen? Import your Zen Spaces and folders. Your pinned tabs become saved links in SupaSidebar.
Also added in 1.2.0
Set privacy separately for each browser. Choose whether SupaSidebar shows a browser's open tabs, records recent pages, or reads its history. For example, you can show Chrome's open tabs while keeping history access off.
Select several items at once. Select multiple links or open tabs in the sidebar, or select everything inside a folder.
